  He is a virtuoso 20 years old musician. Recognized all over Miami as “ The Prince of Saxophone” and a talented Composer.

  His mother is from Venezuela and his father from Ecuador. He has a younger sister. He began to learn music at eleven when he started in the Hammocks Middle School band under the excellent direction of Mr. Steve Kirkland who inspired Emilio to play the Sax after listening to him. Saxophone was Emilio’s first instrument. He also learned to play the Bassoon and excelled in both. He realized then music was his passion and he set his goals to be a well known saxophonist and composer. Very soon he was part on the school Jazz Band playing the Alto Sax and learned to play also the Tenor and Soprano Sax.

  At thirteen years old he was given the chance by his maternal grandparents to play at their Gallery and since then he performs every first Friday of the month on “Coral Gables’ Gallery Night”. Emilio transports the audience into an ecstasy of music. His virtuosity takes the saxophone to another level. He portrays not only music but an entertainment experience, in which the audiences eyes and ears are captured by the incredible warmth in his tone.

  At fourteen Emilio Antonio began playing as a one-man show Jazz and Latin Music in corporate , birthdays, weddings and other types of events. People would say he was in his path to be famous and would stop him for his autograph and to shake his hand.Right then he played also at Miami International Mall, Dadeland Mall and The shops at Sunset Place. He attended Felix Varela Senior High School where he was the lead Alto Player for the Jazz Band. Emilio Antonio was a leader to his peer band members. His solos were a hit. He also was part of Symphonic Band.

  On the day on his fifteen birthday he played the National Anthem at the City Hall invited by The Mayor of Coral Gables-Mr. Don Slesnick. Also he was on TV- Sabado Gigante where he won first prize on a talent show. He was also presented by Wilson Nuņez in TVC channel 41 several times. Over the few years in music he learned Piano by himself, instrument he likes very much. He began putting ideas together and composing his own music in Piano and Saxophone wanting to create a future hit song in the music industry. He also learned to play congas and other different instruments.

  At sixteen he composed two Jazz songs, his first called “Steps Of Life” won first prize with judges on an International art organization. His second song was “ Change of Heart”. He was interviewed in Miami TV Channel 22 and channel 41 at the time.

 At seventeen and eighteen he was assistant conductor for a school musical “Fame” on PAP music Club, He was in charge of Composing the Graduation’s music “Felix Varela High School” for 2005 and 2006 and did the Production of “Felix Varela High School Coffee Night” 2004 & 2005. He got many Music recognitions throughout his middle and High School and he was always assistant to his Band Directors. He composed 6 more songs before he graduated high School in August 2005. Emilio had his first Smooth Jazz Album called “Not looking Back” released on Jan 28, 2005 with eight of his compositions and two others.
 
He was producer and music composer of a Latin CD titled “ Soy Latino”
and Producer and composer of music Earth & Water April 2008 among others.

 Emilio is now 20 years old and continues to entertain in public and private events and composing music.
As a saxophonist, his eclectic music, his talent and passion makes it the ultimate experience in entertainment.


He was accepted to Berklee Music School in Boston. Which he plans to attend in the near future.
